Creditworthiness (Credit Risk)

Reflected by a person’s credit score, creditworthiness refers to the likelihood that a person will pay his/her bills.

Creditworthiness is based upon history of repayment and a person’s credit score. Lending institutions also consider the availability of assets and extent of liabilities to determine the probability that the borrower will default on his/her payments.
